The Super Strip is a rugged, multi-purpose binding strip capable of creating an attractive, strong, and professional tape-bound book in less than 15 seconds. Super Strips are compatible with the Fastback 20 thermal binding system, and can be used to create either soft-cover or hardcover books.

Super Strips are available in three widths (narrow, medium, and wide) and multiple eye-catching colors. They are made with three specialized glue types, each formulated to meet the specific needs of the various stress points on the spine. As a result, the inner pages of books bound with Fastback binding strips can resist up to 50 lbs of pull.

To help ensure a precise and professional bind on every book, Fastback Super Strips feature Powis' patented "Smart Strip" technology. Innovative Smart Strips can be read by the machine, allowing it to recognize the size and style of strip that is being used and make the necessary adjustments automatically - without requiring the user to configure any settings manually (even when changing to a different strip size).

Smart Strip adhesives are environmentally neutral, meaning they do not pollute landfills or water tables when disposed. Furthermore, they contain no regulated levels of NTP, IARC, ACGIH, or OSHA-listed carcinogens, and give off no harmful fumes during binding.
